Striking
is the 6 feet
high black stone idol of
Balaji which is identical
to the one at Tirupati.
Twenty
sculptors in
Kanchipuram worked on black stones, carving from them the idols of Padamavati,
wife of
Balaji, Andal Lakshmi, Ganpati, Hanuman and Garuda that are installed
in the temple.

For devotees of Lord Venkateswara, Balaji, temples dedicated
to them are beginning to prominently dot the cityscape.The temples are
not only built in ancient architectural styles but also conduct various
activities, cultural and spritual, that the devotees can involve the
Kalyani Nagar skyline has been bedecked with the towering 45 feet high
magnificent Balaji temple covering 10,000 sq. ft.
It took 20 months
to build the temple.
Religious and cultural activities have started
at the temple premises. A charitable trust,
Marigold Balaji Trust has been setup to look
after the entire activities of Balaji Mandir.
