Software Technology Park - Hinjewadi Phase II

Phase I and II of the Hinjewadi Technology Park, totals about 330 hectares. The MIDC has so far acquired 1800 acres of land for the I, II and parts of Phase III at IT park at Hinjewadi. MIDC wants additional 1100 acres of land for Phase-4. As per Software Technologies Park of India (STPI), as many as 100 IT industries have set up their centers in Pune during this financial year alone, many of them have come to Hinjewadi IT park.

During 2006/07, IT industries in Pune recorded almost Rs 12000 crores of revenue generation from software export.
