Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has planned construction of two flyovers at Dange Chowk near Thergaon to ease traffic congestion at this busy junction which connects Aundh, Hinjewadi, Wakad, Ravet, Chinchwadgaon and Pune-Mumbai Expressway.

A Bus Rapid Transport System (BRTS) has also been planned along the Aundh Ravet road-Dange Chowk. Theroad is 14.5 km-long and starts from the Rajiv Gandhi bridge nearAundh/Sangvi reaching out to Ravet. The road is also being widened to 45 metres width, making it one of biggest in Pimpri Chinchwad.

The Dange Chowk junction has come to assume huge significance with Chinchwad, Thergaon, Pimpri, Kalewadiseeing a huge surge of IT companies around them. The BRTS buses and the local traffic will use the road at ground level to cross thejunction. This is the third major flyover underconstruction in Pimpri Chinchwad.
